This large area of metallic foil works really well with the addition of a gloss UV coating. The UV coating makes the foil much more durable and also improves its color and reflectivity.

This new product by Holliston looks like a great solution for book covers. It’s book cloth mounted directly on C1S board. The result is stiffer than a paperback cover; but not nearly as heavy or expensive as a case bound project.

When Holliston book cloth manufacturers ask us about making some test prints, we were excited to push the limits of offset printing on cloth. The results were stunning. Museum publishing executives called the results “game changing” as they relate to new cover design possibilities.
